What’s happening, Actionites?
The Hollywood Reporter has posted a pretty cool feature about history’s best athletes turned actors. The list of 26 is pretty expansive, covering lots of athletes and movies/TV shows that I have never even heard of. But many of the action luminaries you know and love are featured in the piece. The key question for us is, which ActionFest Award winners are featured?
Well, it should come as no surprise to anyone that the legendary Chuck Norris, winner of ActionFest’s inaugural Action Star of the Decade Award in 2010 (which he then awarded to his brother, ActionFest Co-Founder Aaron Norris), scored the number 1 spot on the list! What may be an even cooler addition to the list, however, is Gina Carano at number 17! Gina will be present at ActionFest 2012 to receive the inaugural Chick Norris (Best Female Action Star) Award!
